CSR in India
Corporate Social Responsibility is a statutory requirement for companies in India under Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013. It mandates companies to spend 2% of their average net profits of the preceding three financial years towards CSR activities.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Committee
As per the provisions of Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013, the Board of Directors of the Company shall constitute the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Committee.
